There are tips and tricks ya not to choose a good coax cable, (a type of RG8), then how do I macth coaxial line at a frequency143.550Mhz example, can not ya macth calculated impedance ofthe cable length is used, because there are friends who macth pakeantenna cut the cable, until exhausted - + 5meter, from the previousterm

RG8 type cables are good among other series Belden Brand
9913, 9914.
Brand Times LMR400 / LR400, D8, RG8 Belden Ericsson etc..
Inner sole (solid), fibers meeting).
For cable lengths must dikeetahui ngitung first Velocity
Factor each of the cables, for example 9913 = 84% (see
Belden its site).
Formula for Freq 143.55 Mhz >> 300/143, 55 * 0.84 / 2 >> =
87.77 cm (half-Lambda).
Multiply by an odd number so that its length in accordance
with existing wiring.
such that there is a 30 meter cable, the 30/0, 8777 = 34 then
nearest odd number is 33.
cut the cable on the length of 87.77 cm * 33 = 28.96 cm.
